TRAINING MANUAL
Introduction
After
years of research, planning, and developing AdProfits.Biz and saying 'emphatically'
that there just isn't enough of the right kind of training made available
for the part time network marketer;
it has become our mission to provide it.
Everyone has the same basic resources, but because TIME
is
the one "resource" that is invariable; we will walk
you through building a profitable network marketing business that continues
to grow after you retire, in the least amount of time and the least of
out-of-pocket expenses of all competitors.
That's an extremely
bold statement, isn't it?
How can we
make such a statement? Or was that statement hype? Maybe! Maybe not!
Let's see if
we can make that a true statement. Eight years, thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of hours of
research should produce enough insight to make your business building easier
and quicker.
Recognizing
the obstacles that hinder or stop most part time networkers was the first
step. Secondly, we needed to arrive at solutions for these obstacles. Next,
we had to identify what concepts were the keys to shortening the learning
curve for the average new distributor.
Without question,
developing good communication skills is the single most important concept
that must be mastered, before most new distributors will become successful in network
marketing.
Because you
cannot maximize your results in prospecting, recruiting, and sales without
good communication skills, it is expedient that we begin there.
Just a little
reasoning is all one needs to be able to agree that it does little good
to be able to write great ads or purchase leads, if we don't have the skills
to build a genuine, professional relationship with a prospect.
Learning how
to professionally 'communicate' your new business to your warm market will
require some preparation. Henry Ford said, "Before everything else, getting
ready is the secret of success." General Colon Powell said, "There
is no secret to success. It is the result of preparation, planning, hard work and
learning from your mistakes." They were basically saying the same thing, 50
years apart.
Anyone who
has achieved greatness of any kind has had to first prepare.
One of the
worst mistakes you can make is to begin telling those you know (your warm
market) about your new business, before you know how to properly present
it and answer questions that are sure to arise.
We begin by
giving you some background information to educate you about the Network
Marketing Industry. We provide facts that help you show others that Network
Marketing actually is working for many individuals who have applied the
right principles to their business.
You too, can
apply those principles when you learn what they are and how to apply them.
You too, can become a professional business owner---even working part time.
Those who are earning
six and seven figure incomes know they must teach these same principles
to as many as are willing to learn. If you really want to succeed in Network
Marketing, you must also learn and apply these same principles and teach them to as many in your organization as you can.
Network marketing is different than traditional sales in that you want to inspire your downline associate to develop their marketing skills. You want to teach them everything you know and hope they learn more. You aren't training a competitor; you are training a business partner.
Most failures in network marketing have occurred because the "Big Dog" likes being the big dog and getting all the attention. However, a consistent 80% industry wide failure rate proves that attitude incorrect or misguided.
You simply must learn
how to professionally present your opportunity to your warm market, then teach your downline how to do the same. Anyone in your downline, who takes no interest in promoting their product and opportunity, will not be an asset in your business long term and will eventually become a liability.
Next,
you need to learn how to do presentations to large groups. The presentations
can be very similar for presenting to one or five hundred.
We have developed
a presentation script
for our Ad Co-Op that can be printed from online web pages and made into
a flip chart (small groups or one person) and also can be used to make
a board presentation (large groups).
Note: The board
presentation script is designed specifically for our ad co-op and may be
of little help to you, unless you join our team. Contact the one who sent you this sample and get started becoming a professional network marketer as soon as possible.
The information
you are receiving here can be used to help you add your own 'style' to
the presentations. When you are comfortable giving presentations, begin training your downline associates to do the same.
Now you should
be ready to include using the telephone in building your business. Once
you become comfortable presenting the product and/or business to your warm
market or first level associates, you should begin working from a cold market also to increase your warm market.
While your first level associates are training their first level associates how to do one-on-one presentations you should still help them do presentations to large groups.
You must continue to work a
cold market to increase your warm market. Because sales is a relationship
business, you will need to keep building your warm market. As Doug Firebaugh
says, 'to make a new friend'. And Doug should know. He's a million dollar
plus earner---every year.
How do you
increase your warm market from a cold market? Through advertising and/or
purchasing leads and from mail/email marketing and using the telephone
and/or a website.
Our training
will lead you through the complete process.
If you become
an associate of AdProfits.Biz by joining the Ad Co-Op or by purchasing the liquid multi-vitamin we market, we will give you
personal training.
You should
consider becoming our associate for several very important reasons. We help
you build a residual business expense and marketing budget and we give
you personal coaching. We help you develop your presentation and communications
skills, instruct you in advertising and mail/email skills, while we are helping
you build a residual income to increase your standard of living.
Dr. Keith Laggos,
owner of the ad co-op, a 20+ year opportunity, and publisher of a network marketing industry journal, suggests you apply
one third of the income from the ad co-op to taxes, one third to reinvest
into your business building, and one third to increase your standard of
living.
We can either
build the relationship in person, by telephone, or by mail/email. I do
concede the best way is to communicate in person. However, time restraints
and the cost of travel make that less important for those who wish
to build a large organization.
We will instruct
you how to do it all---in due time.
While you could
actually do one on one presentations using all of your available time,
we do not recommend this as the way to quickly build a large organization.
Even if everyone in your group does this, your time can be much more efficiently
spent by everyone inviting prospects to a group presentation, which takes
about two hours a month.
You should
provide at least two hours of training each week.
When your associates
have been to several of your presentations, they will not see the benefit
of being present, unless they have a new prospect themselves or they are participating in the presentation.
You should
explain that when they do have a new prospect, it is much more powerful
when there is a large group present than when there is only a few. If you
do not attend when you don't have a new prospect, others may not attend
when they don't.
Network Marketing
is a team effort and this is just one way to help support the team.
I recommend
inviting new prospects to your training sessions as well as the presentations.
That will let the prospect see for themselves what kind of support they
can expect, should they decide to join you. This concept can be even more
powerful than the actual presentation.
While learning
how to build those relationships over the telephone and/or online become
more practical methods of building our businesses from a cold market, I
also have a five hour rule for traveling to larger cities to do presentations
with my associates. However, that is not an ironclad rule.
Note that I
said WITH my associates. If I agree to travel to their city, they must
participate in the presentation. That is one of the reasons for designing
a presentation script. It helps my associates to duplicate what I do.
I know you
are thinking that we can run up a large phone bill, while trying to build
our business over the phone. Except, AdProfits.Biz uses a technology called "MagicJack". It is unlimited local and long distance service (VOIP) for only $20 per year.
See, we promised not only to show you the fastest, but also the most economical
way to build your business.
First, we need
to give you some helpful hints about phone skills. We will provide training
and scripts for you to use as guides.

do not have a computer, contact your sponsor for written copies.]

All right,
now that the legal stuff is out of the way, let's get to work.
Yes, building
a network marketing business is A FOUR LETTER WORD CALLED "WORK".
Building any
type of business can consume your time, energy, and your income. Unless
we build a team so that we actually do leverage our time, energy, and income;
building a profitable network marketing business is too difficult for most
people.
Teamwork is
one of the great misconceptions in network marketing that is contributing
to the attrition rate.
In network
marketing, everyone is instructed to do everything. That is not real teamwork.
Teamwork is a group of people working together for a common purpose. Each
member has a specific task or duty to perform.
Unless we do
build a team, we cannot maximize the benefits of leverage. Leverage can
be a very powerful concept and your business experience exponential growth,
but the key to that is to build a team.
Building a
team will require you to develop your communications skills until others
perceive you are professional.
Person to person
contact is the best way to communicate, if we have the skills.
However, there
is just no way to avoid using the telephone, unless you use the audio/visual
software of the computer. But, either way, learning good communication
skills is required.
We have several pages of information to help you focus on building those skills. I suggest
you also do a search and find additional resources. You can find several
free online Audio to help you gain a better perspective in communication
skills.
Search keywords
such as telecommunications, phone skills, and telemarketing training. Getting
many different views, presented by several different individuals, can give
you a much better perspective.
After you have
studied our material and researched several others, you will need to become
involved with your upline sponsor in putting this knowledge into action. We have a ten step recruiting plan that is unrivaled in the network marketing industry. It does require skills and teamwork.
Also, if you
wish to keep your start up costs down, developing your communications skills
(before purchasing ad space or leads) can maximize your results, thus saving/earning
you more income.
I know the
pros/heavy hitters say you don't have to get it right, you just have to
get it going. I say you need to know as much as possible before you start
trying to promote your opportunity, even to your friends and family or
those with whom you do business (called your warm
market).
If there wasn't
an eighty percent failure/attrition rate consistent in this industry, I
might agree with them.
Note: If you
have not yet read "warm market", go there now. The address is http://adprofits.biz/warmmarket.htm
I know it is
easy to get excited about the potential this industry has to offer. I'm
excited myself.
However, getting
excited and "just getting it going" had the same result for me that it
does for nearly everyone else in network marketing. I have experienced
the collapse/implosion (called "compression" by the industry) of a downline.
I have witnessed
the "compression" of another downline. In fact, it "compressed" from nearly
1500 members to under 300 members (80% attrition). The income this downline
was producing also compressed from about $45,000 per year to about
$2000 per year.
Now I don't
know about you, but I would be very disappointed if I worked hard to get
my income to a certain level, only to have it "compress" to a few thousand
dollars per year.
I need to point
out that all the great motivational materials produced by all the great
network marketers has not changed the facts or results in the past 50 years.
I think it is safe to assume, it will not change the facts/results in the
next 50 years, either.
All the "super
duper enrollment/recruiting systems" that have been designed to help you
succeed, has not changed anything. Nor is it likely to, in the future.
There are no
secrets to success in business or at AdProfits.Biz. We simply have recognized
what the pros are doing that works, and what does not.
Inspiration
does work. However, inspiration is only a beginning. We must learn the
concepts that produce the results we expect from this industry.
I cannot stress
enough the importance of you developing your communication skills and then
teaching them to your associates.
Begin, today,
learning everything you can about developing your communications skills.
Then, get with your upline sponsor and go to work. You will improve, in
time, with experience.
Prosperity is obtainable
by everyone who will take the time to learn.
